It's better to use cashback card for petrol. Can get more than 5% via some hooks

You mean SBI Cashback? Which hooks?

I don't think there will be any hooks for using Cashback card to get 5% cashback on petrol.
I also experienced same with ICICI card, Use ICICI card for petrol, you get all the amount (surcharge+gst) back charged to you.

1. I'm a 21 year old student without any income proof.

2. My first CC is only 1.5 years old.

3. I only started trying to get new credit cards since Dec 2021 and all cards in the picture except for ICICI cards are received by me in Jan 2022.

There were pre-approved LTF offers for some people. Also there were some conditions to make the card LTF like (Opting for Addon card, 1 lakh spend in first 90 days, etc)

My first unsecured card was through bankbazaar indusind aura edge, No income proof was needed until now.

in the begening paid full joining fees and than Rs 10000 plus taxes annually. than my request to make it ltf was declined 2 yers b4 so i surrerndered it. lately a senior icici official activated it again with assurance of making it ltf. lets see

Slice card is no more a credit card, get it cancelled or it will ruin ur cibil as it will reflect as aloan in ur cibil.

Curious to know your reasoning behind paying such a high joining or for that matter yearly fees. Is there a catch (benefit) for this card that we guys in the forum are missing?

My current CIBIL is 784 wanted suggestions for new card, how about Axis Ace (preferably LTF) ? OneCard (just for a metal card)? IndusInd Aura Edge? Any other suggestions?

Plus i wanted to upgrade my HDFC how should I go about it? I have already tried through net banking but of no use.
