refund

I have a refund on my HDFC credit card which is about 40k. The refund is after the bill was generated. Should I pay (Outstanding -40k) or complete outstanding amount?

total due for previous cycle was 5000 then came 1000 as refund for previous cycle now due is 4000. In current cycle i cancelled one order of 600 but why did my total due reduced to 3400 as 600 refund was not of previous cycle but current cycle?

So my SBI CARD BILL WAS DUE on 23rd, I paid Full bill on 20th OCT, bill reflected on SBI CARD application successfully as well. However today SBI deducted bill amount from my BANK account through AUTO DEBIT. I have written a mail to CC but anyone aware what's steps to follow for REFUND.
