IDFC is only good for setting standing instructions, I stopped using their CC/DC long time back - but running all my SIPs and home loan EMI from IDFC as no frill zero charges there.

Yeah, sometimes they mess up like this. They paid me twice for hsbc cashback. While SC Smart application was processed in a very weird by the bank people and that too after complaining. Due to which, I was apprehensive of not getting money from SC but eventually after a long long delay...

I didn't need to do vkyc again they did ekyc based on my existing relationship but this can vary case by case, so can't confirm
