I don't think you got my question. If for some reason I am not able to generate the app based OTP, will I be able to loginin to INB to change the mode to SMS. I have to deal with the hypothetical because the account belongs to my mother and I can't take her to a branch for changes.

But SBi asks for OTP even to log into internet banking right? How will that work?

Is it possible to switch back to SMS if there's any issue with the app based OTP without visiting branch?
