I've got the gold charge card and got the mail. I asked one of the people who are working at Amex, they told me they aren't going anywhere. They are doing some upgrades and changes in data management.

One can get SBI cashback card LTF as well.. before renewal you have to call customer care and tell them you want to close the card, they'll straight away offer to make it LTF, i experienced that myself.

Seems like Flipkart is offering the credit card with benefits that they are not familiar with got devalued. Recent changes publically sent by Axis bank were fake, Flipkart is sending out this message on 28th April 2024, way after it was devalued, either it's misleading or they don't bother...
This is exactly why I didn't open an account with them either. My customer service experience was very terrible for the IDFC credit card that I've been using and they're hopeless.
