Have you selected Rupay as the variant? Because Rupay variant is applicable only for Signet & I also got Signet issued earlier because of opting for Rupay variant.

Better to utilize at non-rewarding categories: NPS, Income Tax payments, Rent etc.

Seems to be targeted and not generic offer for all. I got offer for 2% cashback with minimum spend criteria of 50000 in June & July each. Max cashback cap 3000.

Agree, but there is always an option to cancel the order until not delivered :P :P You can buy an iPhone for above 1.5 lakhs and then cancel it just before delivery. People are smart enough now a days to find loopholes if they want to :)

This may appear weird but I think it makes sense considering bank avoiding all the loopholes of people getting fee waiver by just making spends in last month of annual cycle and then get them refunded/reversed by cancelling orders/returns on ECom sites in new annual cycle. One month statement...
