Will not work for any bank if you want to open account online (due to some RBI rule - only aadhar linked number would be registered for online accounts)...... will work for many banks if opening the account through offline route.

I opened kotak 811 online with non Aaadhar number around year ago before rbi ban.

I don't know if they changed it now or not

Last I successfully did this (opened with non-aadhar number online) was in 2023. Got a Indusind card in 2024 June/July, and the executive told me this. (got rejected due to using non-aadhar regd mobile number during application)
