I was in market to but a 2 wheeler. Choice was down to Jupiter and Activa. Experienced very rude behaviour from TVS showroom owner, both showrooms were not ready to waive MDR and "handling charges", so I got frustrated and walked into Honda showroom.
Had a pleasant experience, they did not demand and MDR and the owner agreed to waive off the handling charges after a 2 minute friendly argument.
Paid using Atlas and got 4% returns!
Even though I paid 5k more than jupiter, I was satisfied that it was going in the form of product cost and not unnecessary dealer charges!

Lucky You. Where are u from that this pleasant scene you got as I have not seen any waiver from Any showroom here. In TVS there is option to pay online though which is not available for honda.

I gifted my sister honda activa earlier this year. Dealer agreed to waive off MDR charges & got complimentary helmet. I took insurance from my known agent outside. So it was a good deal.

Agency :- G K Honda, Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Purchased in February.

Was unsure which card to use between EPM & Atlas, finally went with Axis Atlas.

You saved yourself from the after-sales experience as well. Parts are mostly not available; they keep your scooter for months with no responsibility.

I'm from Goa. I visited 3 TVS showrooms here, all had very bad attitude! one showroom actually started turning off lights and sales people started walking out while we were looking at vehicles! It was their lunch time! I visited 3 Honda showrooms, all were quite professional. None of the sales people were ready to waive off handling charges, it could only be done by speaking to the owner!

got complimentary helmet
that comes from Honda I think

You saved yourself from the after-sales experience
I'm glad I didn't go for TVS!

Got honda activa 125 bd2 2025 version, with free* helmet, 3yrs 3rd party insurance, 10yrs service, rto number plates, full addon set, on-road price was 1.26L.

The agency took 2% extra charge. 3 days later went to get all papers and number plate, he returned 1% in cash. The owner said the bank only charge them 1%.

Paid with emeralde pvc, so basically the return is 1%.

Depends on which model u take. I was offered at same price without additional mdr for 2024 model and for 2025 they said no mdr but price was high

After negotiating I got at 111000 during jan month this year but 2024 model and 110c for activa

Honda jsp dealer sells at good price than other sellers
