@mojo_jojo123 - i usually have spends around 3 lacs including home/family/travel/father travel expenses, sometimes it reaches 4 and when it doesn't i rotate a bit on amazon wallet to achieve 10k points
@aniketkr.sharma - I got the benefit of amazon prime since my card is from June 2024
@rogerthat - I have already tried twice lol, the last email response i got from them literally said "apni aukat me raho" and keep using DCB
I also do not see welcome rewards tab there but in history it does show as redeemed. I had redeemed all three and generated vouchers. Last was amazon prime generated on 24th March. But they should not remove it. I remember in Regalia gold, it stayed there as I had no use for these.

Discovered a new weakness of all Diners Club cards over Visa/Mastercard/RuPay -
Some platforms (Care Religare Health Insurance, for example) add a surcharge of 1.7% for using Diners as against 0.8% for others.
I had observed the same at an HPCL petrol pump as well a few years ago after which I never swiped a Diners Club card again for that purpose.
HDFC bank has sent a survey about Diners experience after I survived 3 years with Diners acceptance. Primary target is ICICI, Axis and Amex and Rupay, Discover, Visa and MC in networks for comparison and benchmarking in all aspects of spends and offers. It took almost 30 mins to finish. Don't know whether they will renew my card after my harsh feedback 😀

You definitely a backup card. But acceptance of Diners is generally much better than AMEX. Mostly the acceptance has to do with the generation of machine. Older machines do not recognize it. Newer machines (usually Android/touch ones) accept it.
Tap to pay works only on Paytm & HDFC's machines. On other machines it doesn't.

Rewards are better on DCB Metal for offline / non-smartbuy spends. So Infinia may not be best for all.
