Need suggestions to buy domain

I want to buy a new domain and use subdomains to point to existing urls (like websites hosted on systeme.io and others etc...) and also I need email forwarding features.

Not looking for any hosting now.

I need suggestions for below

1) which domain registrar is better for the above? I have shortlisted porkbun, cloudfare, namecheap , anyone if already using anyone of these please let me know. Renewal prices should be reasonable and less.

2) for email forwarding, I need the below

support@subdomain.domain.com
enquiries@subdomain.domain.com
level2support@subdomain.domain.com

Like these to farward to single Gmail.

Is it good to go with Gmail to setup these customdomain emails or outlook (free version) ?

If anyone has any experience or suggestions, please help me , it will help my setup.

I use namesilo. You may buy a new domain from Godaddy at $0.99 (+ taxes, when there is an offer) but transfer them to another service provider of your choice before the end of first year. Godaddy is one of the costliest in terms of domain renewal.

I have mainly used porkbun, namesilo, gandi and namecheap.

All of these are good. Currently all my domains are in porkbun. It is no nonsense registrar.

Just out of curiosity how much are you paying on an average per .com domain renewal. When I last tried them they were ripping off in renewals ($13.xx GoDaddy vs $10.xx others).

2. Grab auth code from GoDaddy. You may have to wait upto a day for it to get mailed to you.
3. Go to registrar where you want to transfer your domain to (Eg porkbun, namesilo etc) and click on transfer domain. Follow the steps provided to you by registrar. You will have to add auth code (also called EPP code) in the process.

3. Go to registrar where you want to transfer your domain to (Eg porkbun, namesilo etc) and click on transfer domain. Follow the steps provided to you by registrar. You will have to add auth code (also called EPP code) in the process.

Unlock the domain means? Do we need to email them to unlock it from GoDaddy registrar?

Not sure how to unlock the domains thought since I have enough time would search on yt and check the pricing too. Thanks you for step by steps.
