Yes you will. Unless it is amazon gift card. In my case, i have made multiple purchases and the merchant name was always amazon pay india pri.

Nope. My bill was generated on the 3rd. Got entire cashback as statement credit after 2 or 3 days.

Ok, so you mean the cash back for that month will be actually adjusted in next month's bill right.? Because statement credit happens after a few days of bill generation. Or is it like we need to pay the amount less of cashback?

Like bill generated = 100
Cashback = 5

Do we need to pay 100 or 95?

Cashback is not instant with bill. Comes as credit 2 to 3 days after statement is generated. I pay instantly when bill is generated so cannot comment on whether cashback credit decreases the outstanding amount. The credit falls in the next cycle so should count for the next statement.

It is eligible for cashback?? Because it shows zero at cashback earned

If we pay utility bill directly from Amazon pay and the merchant name is Amazon Pay only same as of gift card .. will we get cashback ? Or buying gift card is preferred

Hi all,Today I have received my virtual swiggy credit card.They took a lot of time to approve as it was my 2nd co-branded card from hdfc.It is FYF.

I took this card mainly to buy Amazon pay gift card as I am not getting the Sbi cashback.But recently I read here,that Amazon has changed its mcc for gift card purchases with swiggy credit card.

So I want to know how true is this?
Is their any way to get 5% for Amazon Pay Gift card?

I don't mind FYF.But if Amazon pay option is gone,then I will only active this card if Hdfc Grievance Redressal Dept make this card ltf.So please give me latest update regarding Amazon pay vouchers.Thank you

I too took this card for the 5% cb on apay. Apparently they changed mcc for Amazon gift cards few days back, I bought AGV of rs 100, I got merchant name as Amazon gift card. I called hdfc customer care, they said mcc is 5249 or 5269(forgot) i.e not eligible for 5% cb.

Not sure but you can give it a try. Buy physical Amazon GV and see if you are getting 5%
