You don't get the main thing here. Fee of 250rs doesn't matter but rewards do. They are false advertising by saying upto 3% savings but the max they give is 0.75%.

They should mention it as 3% reward points not 3% savings.

The thing is this card is not worth it even with LTF.

I think it's not even that! Doesn't 1 RP equal just 20p at HDFC? -- That would make it just 0.60%. On top of that some redemption fee might also apply!

It is offered to those who don't have any Rupay Card. If it is being offered LTF then it will be LTF for you. Normally it has ₹99 fee.
