Paid advance tax for 1.2 L from IDFC wealth via HDFC gateway (0.85%+GST).

So what I could gather from this forum the net gain will be around 1.2% after deducting pg charges and then 1% CB while paying the credit card bill.

Glad I got the idfc wealth card only for tax payment purpose after getting to know from the forum. Thank you TF community.

I got ~2.5% cashback/rewards without any card charges by using IDFC wealth DC to pay advance tax (2.5% applicable over 50K spend in a month using this DC)

This is even better.
Had you actually received reward points on your DC transactions as people were complaining about no proper credits for dc transactions

Could you please be more specific.
PG charges ? The levels of DC ? I mean IDFC has slabs of wealth cc like below 30K it's 1.5% and 2.5% later on. similarly for wealth DC what is it ?

I was frankly surprised to see the rewards for government MCC payment. I have received it although I am yet to use it.
