Almost all banks have started to levy 1 percent charge on bank transfers.

Paytm used to charge anywhere between 3% to 4% just to transfer from cc to bank! Serves them right! 1% is far better!

3-4% charge on Paytm & bank charge extra 1% of your transaction value greater than ₹10000 so total is 5% not 1% as you think.
