Late Payment on Inactive Card

Hello friends
I was offered MMT card on upgrade by ICICI, but later I decided to not to activate it.
And ICICI customer service executive also said that this will not be reported to CIBIL.
But today I got a hard hit by Cibil, my credit score has fallen to 703 from 775🙄.
In latest Cibil report icici reported that card and being shown as 1 late payment.
And no card is being shown in icici application or web.
Please help me with this.

No, ICICI denied any further action.
According to them they report it to CIBIL and can't revert it back.
I'm thinking of going to RBI.
But I don't think it'll be resolved.
Anyway my CIBIL is reverted to close of earlier.
