Anyone with SBI Aurum as 2nd SBI card?

Have anyone got SBI AURUM who already have a SBI card.

Currently I have SBI Prime & want to apply for AURUM. Is it possible without closing SBI Prime?

Surprisingly got message of upgrade to Aurum card from SimplyClick. Applied and received mail that my card will be dispatched in 7 days. No document submitted.


PS: SBI Cashback rejected 3 times so far with last one just a week back but they have approved their super premium card😀

SBI is strange. Hope you have not upgraded your existing LTF card. Aurum is useless after 1 year.

I opened Aurum website to apply card (as per their words "express interest"). But list of cities in drop down menu only covered 7-8 matro cities.

It was strange. Other SBI credit cards are given all India but not Aurum.

I did. Already Simplyclick has vanished from my account and Aurum is being displayed. Anyways to check card number as have need to use card but dont have details. Able to set pin and transaction details.

Was anyways planning to close Simplyclick as hardly any offers.

then its fine. After 1 year you can downgrade Aurum. Aurum is as useless as simplyclick except lounge and movie benefits.

Its been a week since card approval but card still not received. Should I wait or any mail id for checking status? Since it was an upgrade, not able to track in SBI application site. Main issue is don't have the card number and not able to see in app but need the card (number) urgently.

PS: Received Aurum monthly card statement.

PPS: SimplyClick is still working though it has vanished from the app (Reward points will be for SimplyClick or Aurum🤔).

Let me write what I have considered:
1. Card feels 10,000+GST=11, 800
2. I am planning to convert 40,000 welcome rewards into 10,000 Rs Amazon voucher. So card cost me 11800-10000= 1800 rs from my pocket.
3. I live in tire 3 city so monthly 4 tickets of 250 rs will be more than sufficient.

So by paying 1800 rs, I can have 4 movie tickets per month for a year.

Am I missing something?

Yes but Arum 10k fees need to justified

Max 2 tickets can be booked in a week or so.
