Daily needs store. It was working fine with him a week back . He got it disabled recently

Several merchants have started not to accept rupay UPI credit card transactions.

Same happened with me tried to pay for bike but got this instead.

Idhar post karne se enable thode hoga.

Yes, Lack of awareness is also an issue

There should be rule that It should gave option to disable rupay cc if payment is above 2000.

They can set any limit, few smart ones have set 2k already

Awareness Faili hai isi liye toh disable kr diya hai.

They can set any limit, few smart ones have set 2k already

How to set limits? Paytm, Phone, Google Pay merchant apps don't have such option.

It's happening frequently now. These virtual UPI credit cards will be rendered useless if something is not done about it or they should start issuing a physical credit card as well. The shopkeepers are so aware in a small state like Himachal that they have disabled Credit card payments on UPI.

Spoke to the merchant and he said that he won't turn it on coz of MDR charges as his turnover is well over 30 lakhs

Seems no point getting Rupay upi CC anymore. As it will not be much accepted everywhere except few.
