Can we a member in family banking if they have a account in other branch or state ?

I have a family member in other state i wanted to add him in my preferred family banking but my account in U.P and he is in Hyderabad

contact your Relationship manager. It is definitely possible if they are spread across different branches in the same city but I don't know if there are any restrictions to accounts in different states. There's no harm in trying

Probably you are referring to HDFC Preferred Savings Account. Yes it is possible and you need to speak to your RM for that. In HDFC most things are initiated by the RM and is time consuming and therefore irritating.

Axis is Far better as most of process can be process by NetBanking

All banks are same. It all boils to personal experience during certain situations. I have accounts both in HDFC and Axis and would personally recommend HDFC over Axis.

Hdfc isn't different at all, i cant connect to my RM even after trying 10 Times for past 20 days 😂 Reason: i decline to buy her ulip plans!

Drop an official "connect request"
They'll have to call you.

My BM is my RM
Never calls or sells anything.
Always available on call - or calls back.

I give him respect - he reflects it back 👍

I received call from my RM today asking me to refer my friends for account opening. I said they are living in different city. He said no problem he can open account for them.
I got curious asked him how you do that he says you sign the account opening form in their name and their aadhar card and pic can be shared through the whatsapp. I was like what a fu*k is this
