Hey guys need some help related to the application, I currently live in a rented place in Hyderabad but my Aadhar has my permanent address from Gwalior. Can you suggest me which address should I use while applying?
I don't have any address proofs for my rental address apart from a rent agreement.

Change aadhar address based on rent agreement and then apply for Amex card. If needed change aadhar address again to native place. Rs 50 fee and approx 10 days to change and update address.

Enter Aadhaar address in application. Check if Gwalior is in their serviceable area before applying.

Does not paytm charges extra for loading their wallet with amex MRCC ?

It does if you go the direct route. You still get 3%+ cashback.
Some are lucky to get it done via uber.

Others can roatate using olamoney and Paytm fastag to get it done for free.

Basis of that aadhaar can be changed.

Apply for the card.

Rent agreement will definitely work. I have done it myself and got Amex plat travel. BTW I am also living in Hyderabad, native is Rajasthan.

I don't think amount decides the authenticity of agreement. You can definitely try, at worst the address won't change. But it's definitely worth taking the risk. You can then use updated aadhar address to change communication addresses in bank accounts.

Does it have a "landline" number?
If it's a fiber connection then it would - check your bill/app.

If you're lucky, they won't askfor any income proof.
And if they do, I think they would check that your total income should be >6L i think

Nowhere it gives cashback. He told that against load charges paytm gives around 3% CB offer
MRCC gives 1 MR per 50Rs. and 2 bonus ways to earn 2000 MR every month,

Just to add my few cents:
Family member’s case:
1. When tried last year, it gave him limit range 3-3.5L. He did not proceed further.
2. Tried this early year, showed 4.5-5L range. He did not proceed further.

Last year, his highest limit was 3.5L, this year it was 5L. Salary only slightly increased this year. Cibil slightly slipped down.

Now his highest limit is 8L+ not reported to cibil yet. Lets see what limit Amex offers him this time.

Any 4 txns above 1500 per month give you 6.4% cashback (~5% if you take in half the membership fees)

So that's 6k worth of spends with 5% cashback. Irrespective.
If you hit 20k spends in a month - it's a cumulative 4.5~% on the 20k spend

To clarify, by cashback I mean MR points that are equivalent to the 5% cashback as Amazon gv

It's even higher if you get a Taj voucher. But that won't be applicable to everyone. So just 5% cashback
