Only for network issued Plat Charge cards and above so mostly everyone here would be excluded as Amex doesn’t do partner cards for Plat and higher in India.

Yah its base membership is complementary for 1 year. I have received it today.

Elite membership is 395$ for first year & 995$ after that. (Includes membership for spouse).

Apart from AWS 5000$ credit i don’t see any major benefits that are India specific.

In short it's not worth it in India, I had it for a year barely used it, seems more useful in US.
Btw the $5000 aws did not go through for me, maybe that's fixed now

Applied yesterday. Got invite for 6 month complimentary and $395 after that in a few hours yesterday. Getting "What's holding you back from signing up" emails today already. 😛

Didn't need Amex Platinum.

Yah. And even after paying 395$ its nothing useful in India at present. I checked 5000$ AWS Activate you can directly get from amazon.

yes, same amount we will get 3-4 super premium cards and more useful benefits!
