Indulging with Indus Exclusively :)

Good Day Everyone,

This post is about my journey with IndusInd , this will be a little different post than the ICICI one as I will not be discussing about the fees plan associated with my card instead this post will mostly be related to my journey with IndusInd. So back in Oct 2022 , I applied for IndusInd Legend card through their online channel and was approved with a limit of 9 lakhs , however when I received my card the limit given was 5 lakhs , within 20 days of using my card I received a message that my card limit has been enhanced to 9 lakhs . Fast forward March 2023, I took an upgrade from Legend to Indulge credit card. Post that I came to know as per the SOB of exclusive savings account , one can maintain an exclusive account with 0 fund if an Indulge/Pinnacle credit card can be linked to account as surrogate . Till this time I had no banking relation with IndusInd , so I had to 2 options either open a basic 0 MAB account with IndusInd online and then get that upgraded to Exclusive account from branch or to directly open a Exclusive account online
I am not a fan of HNI banking and also as per principle I never open a account with huge IP just for credit card . So point 1 seems more feasible to me , I went ahead and opened a 0 MAB account online and got a virtual DC and a physical Titanium DC charged 249 Rs. Post completing my VKYC , I visited IndusInd branch and submitted the upgrade form to upgrade my account to Exclusive , the upgrade was processed in 7 days as 3 days were taken for approval as my account didn’t had the minimal balance required for Exclusive account . Post the upgrade I received my welcome kit which had a visa signature DC , also just when my account got upgraded I raised a request through phone banking to give a MC Exclusive DC as well , so I received both my Visa and MC DC .
P.S - I also tried to get Pioneer World Heritage Credit Card but that request was denied as I don’t have any Pioneer relation with Indus Ind
IndusInd gives 5 add-on cards so I took all 5 for my family members, Indulge add-on also gets unlimited lounge access through PP

No problem about the booking process as I do it on a constant basis so know the timings and all as to when I need to book. Was really disappointed when they decreased the limit to 1 per card for both DC and Legend CC so taking extra cards

Also limit is just ₹200

In city I live, minimum 250 is required, that's why stopped using pinnacle for bms long ago

Oh thats not useful then just trying to utilize it to the maximum as long as I can then once they remove benefit we will see

For me, i have magnus, sapphiro, rbl, sbi elite - that give better value in bms

Its no more issued.. better than current rbl play -we don't get rewards in rbl play card but we get something better than nothing in fun+

I believe you should still get it. Just activate the account & try applying for second DC from the app.

Just ask the RM to ensure they send Mastercard World instead of Visa Signature DC. It's a lot easier to get Visa Signature as second DC because that option is available in the app directly, as noted by several users on this very thread. Good Luck !

Indusind have stupid net banking system. Somehow my mobile banking linked my Pinnacle CC with Exclusive account but same ID - netbanking have only cc. In netbanking, saving account and pinnacle CC is linked with different ID

I was not able to link current account so created new netbanking and mobile banking IDs. Now for my Current account - mobile app doesnt show my existing debit card. It says I dont hold any debit card and if I click on apply, it shows only virtual card - no visa card

It's better to ask your RM to sort it out, otherwise all this linking and delinking will create more mess. Give it some time to complete. This is IndusInd, and you need to be patient with them as they are slower than PSU banks. 🤣

Same with me... In mobile banking see card and main account... not HUF account.

In net banking, I see all accounts (main and HUF) but not credit card.

Use the ID that is currently showing all your accounts to link any future products or services. If you request linking or removal through customer support, they might create additional issues for you. 🤣 It's always better to seek support from your branch, as customer support is often useless. You might tell them to remove something, and they might end up removing or delinking something that is already functioning. 🤣

I think PP gets renewed every year

in sbi elite they offered only a year pp and it didnt get renwed, customer care told me once a time offer

PP is given for 3 years post that it gets renewed
60k upfront is a bit more for Indulge , also it’s more of a tactics by sales agents , they would charge you 10k annualy.

sure will ask them give comfirmations
but they assured its LTF but have to pay the fee upfront. was confused about the PP [but being 5 add-on pp is pretty good deal and 6k/year on dining ]
Will check them out on monday to know more

Yeah do get prior confirmation for sure.
But they are still not worth the fees that you’ll be paying.
If you have other cards like Magnus/ Infinia/ dcb or reserve for that matter you don’t need and won’t use it.

But they are still not worth the fees that you’ll be paying.
If you have other cards like Magnus/ Infinia/ dcb or reserve for that matter you don’t need and won’t use it.
Heritage Metal card they refused to budge for LTF for me being pioneer & even when I threatened to move my home loan, so I BT to HSBC.

yes i have some super premium cards..only wanted an legend just for once a while indus card offers but they said not eligible for legend/pinnacle as both are for online applications
they offered indulge/vistara LTF after a hefty joining fees
Will ask for heritage metal and see what they offer in there store.

I'd suggest you to go via paisabazar route you may get legend easily ltf.

PS. I got my legend ltf with 5L limit. Kept specifically for indusind bank offers.
