Matter must be investigated by authorities. Its a serious Concern.I was waiting for the dirst to settle before diving into this.

This data was out since late 2021. One of the guys who found the vulnerability way back had some disagreements with the other team members and in retaliation made the bot.
What's funny is this hack was done with the intention of finding vulnerabilities and reporting them to cowin team to patch and get some recognition for themselves. But on one side the guys doing were pretty young and found more fun in using this to play pranks on their friends and on the other hand cowin had usual Indian response to a security breach information, which was to ignore it mostly.

This seems post 2022 leak since Kids vaccinations are part of it. Kids vaccinations started after 2022 Jan

Leak or rather the backdoor was found in late 2021. Since then these guys have access to the cowin data.
