Yes but it’s a add on wealth account, so does that work ? It’s an add on on my grandfathers account and we’ve been using it since about 10-15 years still no credit card offers. I’m a student with no income and that’s the only negative I think in my case.

Watching this thread only for reference, so @advikm try to tell them that ICICI's Wealth Account does not have many benefits and so you're looking for better offers to park your money.
Step by step increase your tone as you monitor the other person's body language. It's difficult for a 21 year old, but you have to seem to be unhappy with their services and account facilities to take bold steps. Since the account is not in your name you have less command but worth a try. Do not be under pressure and get carried away by the above replies, do what you think is best.

Now the way I said the above statement the bank guys will have the exact same feelings from your way of conversation from you.
If you can make them feel the exact opposite way as I said in the above statement then you are going to get Emerald LTF for sure.
Remember the statement of SRK from DON where he was escaping from police by dragging Kareena Kapoor with a blank Pistol pointed on her head :-
"Tum janti ho yeh Pistol khali hain, main janta hoon yeh Pistol khali hain but police nhi janti ki yeh Pistol khali hain"

The massive advantage I have in my favour is that I live in the city. My granddad stays in the village where there isn’t even a wealth account branch. He barely cares where the money is being parked. Axis Icici or hdfc it’s all one and the same in the village. He’s 75 so he doesn’t use a credit card, never has his entire life. All I want is to leverage that power and channelise it for me.
I had gone, they told me they can’t give because my college is not listed in their list of colleges which I found weird because it is one of India’s top 10.
When I then threatened to close, he told me give until evening, call his credit team asked them to cc him in email etc. I could sense fear in him.
But I don’t think he’ll be ready to give me emerald. He told emerald ltf me milta hi nahi hai
