Hi Community,
On what platforms is Sapphiro card issued like Visa and Mastercard i know but which variants of visa and mastercard can anyone let me know if they have sapphiro card on visa or mastercard then…..

is it that simple I mean do they agree and it will remain LTF ?

Also which variant do you suggest?
I have all visa cards and one diners.

It’s not simple
You have to escalate a bit
LTF is on card account and not on card network , so your LTF status will remain .
You can try asking for dual variant if you need a Amex variant

But arent amex cards banned some time back? So will they change our card variant to amex if asked? Also there is no dual variant right? Either we ask them to change from visa to mastercard or visa to amex platform correct??

Amex cards are not banned now.
Sapphiro is offered in either Visa signature or dual variant ( Mc + Amex ) , you cannot switch from visa to MC , if they approve your switch it will be from visa to dual

So on the card which logo is showed. I mean both amex and MC logo is showed ?coz the sapphiro Mc which i had, had only Mc logo. No mention of amex on card or imobile thats why asking

In visa does it come in Visa Signature or Platinum and for Mastercard also does it come in platinum or world?

Mine is Visa Signature

Ohh this is great even though I received only sapphiro MC only after approval 2 years back. Didnt get Amex one

Its either or right?
Either we get MC or amex in dual variant not both cards right?


Or do we get both cards with 2 different card numbers…and 2 entries of cards in imobile app

You get both cards that’s why it’s said dual variant
Different numbers , Amex one would start with 3747

Thats great. Sadly i didnt get that way and got only MC thats why the doubt. But its good we get to experience benefits of 2 card platforms that way.. since i had only MC variant due to that i was only getting 1 BOGO BMS ticket and visa had 2 thats why switching back to visa

You got the card during Amex bam hence you didn’t receive the Amex variant

Right now i talked with customer care again and they are saying they will issue me MC variant only. Card variant change is not allowed. In the morning i talked with a guy in customer care and he told me that he has placed the request to change the card variant but he just put a replacement request as told to me by the customer care guy i talked to right now.


Will have to escalate somewhere.

@anirban.choudhury do you know the right people to escalate to get this card variant change done…

Could you tell us the detailed process of how you converted the card platform. If u have mails or stuff it would be helpful if you share your experience 🙏

My MasterCard is platinum. Platinum is written behind the card and i don't see world anywhere on the card

It's strange. Even basic flipkart comes in mastercard world. Sapphiro mastercard should atleast be world if not elite
