There are a few cards these days that come with golf benefits. Complementary golf rounds and complementary lessons even. Has anyone availed these services? Are there any hidden terms and conditions like you need to get some membership or purchase the golf clubs or something of the sort?

Yes there are. The kits which you need to borrow from them, they come with a good amount of fee. Like ~10k. If you carry your own kit, it's alright. Also few clubs serves buffet which comes under complimentary perk.
@Subhankar001 can we get KIT on rent from some places or any stores/website which provide it on nominal basis ?

This is pretty much my question. Even if I don't get the buffet, can I just go empty handed, get some golf lessons/rounds using the equipment from them and not have to pay for anything?
About the kit: no. At least as far as I know, again I’m person with pretty limited knowledge.
For buffet list: no. Sometimes even the same golf course which provide buffet usually, it choose not to. So it pretty much depends on your luck

Great. Any idea about bangalore regarding Which clubs provide free buffet? I see quite good Google reviews for prestige golfshire. Many people recommend to visit it even for roaming. But is quite far from the city.

Also, I have 2 cards, so can I book one from each and take my brother alongside? Or do they verify names properly? I have used a few times for my brother for airport lounge and they allow it.
No, golfshire is out of city, near Nandi hills.
Near Sankey road, I see snowcity, bangalore palace and cauvery theatre. No gold club at least on Google maps.

Not sure about the free buffet to any of the golf course as mentioned above. It depends on them, totally. Adding to that, it's not fixed either

anyone who used in Bangalore ? can you share your experience ?
I have used this benefit many times (20+ times), but I am an active golfer. You need to bring your clubs, etc or rent them at the course. Golfshire is amongst the best courses in Bangalore (KGA is another top course but not on any program). I have used this benefit at Augusta, Eagelton, Zion also - pretty much all 5 courses in Bangalore. AFAIK, none of the courses offer free buffet, etc - green fees are waived and you still need to pay for the cart (which is mandatory at Golfshire). The rest have a tax component that you need to pay for.
I have been using the Golf benefit regularly for almost a year now, generally on credit card you will see Golf "Lesson" or "play", for lesson everything is included , you dont need to pay anything extra. They will assign you a Coach for 30 mins + 50 balls to play + an iron/driver club.
While if you choose Play, then there's lot of extra charges, you need to pay for Caddy + Clubs , also if you were new to golf then no point choosing Play, first take a lesson.
Ps: I book using Burgundy debit card + Select credit card, both have these benefits complimentary.
