Indusind deactivated the UPI 🆔 without prior notice.

I have been using the Indusind Bhim UPI app for the past couple of years. I had my UPI ID alias set and saved to my other payment apps as usual to receive money to this account. Today, when I was transferring money to my IndusInd account with the same UPI ID, it said the UPI ID was not valid, to which I tried with some different apps & got the same results. It seems they might have deleted my UPI ID without prior notice to the customer. Strange to see; maybe they are upgrading or changing the system.

But their Bhim UPI is not functioning at the moment citing the cause as server down so not able to see the change as you mentioned.

They should have informed you as well as other BHIM IndusPay App users about the change in UPI ID. Guess what, I never installed BHIM IndusPay App, but I received an email yesterday informing about the change. You can get an idea how their system are working. So no surprise here that their servers are down.

I don't think they will allow to give compensation until the complaint is registered with RBIO which will take lots of communication with the bank and this bank's customer service is horrible.

Guess what, I never installed BHIM IndusPay App, but I received an email yesterday informing about the change. You can get an idea how their system are working. So no surprise here that their servers are down.

I haven't received the communication from bank end but it seems that they are changing the it to xyz@indusind from xyz@indus, but why would they delete the UPI ID is beyond the ambit of my understanding.
