I do have option to apply for rupay debit card on bob advantage saving account

I upgraded my account from lite to advantage for ease my trip rupay platinum debit card. Account was upgraded but I never got option for emt dc when applying from bob world or net banking all I see visa and mastercard variant no rupay variant. Bank and customer care are helpless as usual.
Anyone know what is the proble.
I forgot to add "" not "" above in headline. I don't have option..

I checked for my account too. It was not showing through BOB World/NetBanking. Better, request your branch. They can do it easily. If not, simply raise complain through grievance portal at BOB CRM. BOB is having the quickest grievance redressal response among all large PSBs.

Sadly you can't apply from your nearest branch as this is a PSB. They are not here to make your life easy. Simply, raise a grievance & demand your base branch that if I am sending the signed form copy over email for applying EMT, could you please process it. They will work for you surely but it needs escalation first otherwise PSB employee will not work proactively.

Upgraded and submitted the form for dc bank never applied. Before that I had to visit the bank seven time to get my mobile number change. So I never follow up after that . I thought I may get option in app later but never got

You can update your RMN through BOB ATM too. U should apply this DC first after account migration.

I saw recent YouTube videos they say even though option available at atm transaction ( to change the mobile number always fails) fails everytime.

I didn't try yet but you need to deregister your BOB World first before updating mobile number

Even if you didn't deregister atm will give you option to deregister before update but still at the end transaction fail

🤔 I see!!! What we can expect from a PSB except unprofessionalism & half cooked product launch. Sadly, our beloved GOI & RBI are so numb on these banks that you can't enact on heinous act. One more point, I wanted to highlight, BOB doesn't allow you to update a mobile number which is not linked with Aadhar. BOB does have unrealistic rules everywhere.

Problem with these type of branches they don't do work in one or two go , you have to visit 5-6 time to get a simple work done

That's why, I always prefer to raise complain before visiting branch. Though, I found few prominent metro branches are as good as private banks. Fast & professional. You can check branch ratings on Google & change it later.
