1% payback + 1% cashback as cash + 1.2% Magnus base + 5% Magnus milestone + 1% debit card = 9.2% - 0.85% charges = 8.35%

Guys update as of 6th july 2024:
Recently, ICICI has disable fuel transactions on their fastags. DYOR before loading bulk amt in ICICI tags
Update 7th August 2024:
Courtesy @Sriim for the ICICI tag holders to enable options of fuel by ICICI tags:
You need to login to ICICI etoll website using your fastag customer ID and password. It will show up fuel enabled yes or no in one of the tag detail menu options

Hi both
Visited iocl today since I always give my car xp95 always but they said they don’t have tag debiting machines so I dropped iocl plan and visited hpcl filled in and as usual asked Hp pay code to my surprise the app scanned showed amount of bill but payment option shows either wallet or card
So fastag option got removed permanently from Hp pay app
Then I asked pump girl drive track she said with her 3 year of experience she didn’t used it and gave bill print to me and asked to visit manager cabin
Manager said me to ask DTP then only pump boy or girl understand it
Manager called girl inside and taught her how to feed amount in dtp then choose tag option followed by vehicle 4 digit next step mobile number voila I got mobile sms otp and subsequently debit sms from icici also I got.
Manager was scolding hpcl that company will introduce new new methods but they won’t spend on training for the pump owners lol nothing in our hand
I assured him this method what he showed me I can teach next time if a new boy or girl attend my car fueling
It’s a paytm Machine I noted
The pump had phonepe and Amex/icici machines as well but those are for direct card swiped with 1% surcharges
Thank u all for the guidance 👍🤝
So DTP Machine > Fastag payment > Vehicle number > Mobile number > OTP

This is the method right?

Note that HP Pay QR code is different than UPI based QR codes....It could be displayed on the wall or staff may generate it on POS machine
Yes, yes. I have been paying via HP Pay QR code and HP Pay wallet. Not used the fastag route yet. HP Pay wallet thing is convinient for me.

I have been paying via HP Pay QR code and HP Pay wallet.
Both of these are a part of single method only ?
Add money to hp wallet and then pay via scanning qr code ?
Can't they debit the amount via mobile number?

In case of fasttag, vehicle number is entered on the pos machine after selecting fasttag and otp confirmation

These are the only 2 methods currently working?

And amazon icici fasttag would work for fuel or only icici one is required?

Yes. When we scan HP Pay QR code using the HPPay app, different payment options appear. One of that is hp pay wallet. Another one is fastag. I always use HPPay wallet. Haven't used other options..
