What about trading individual stocks for shorter period of time. Like 1 week to 4 weeks timeframe? If one can manage to get a 10-15% return in this period I personally think that's a very good return.

If consistently you are getting THAT, no need to work any more, you will grow 1000x in short span of time...

OP made this article in Jan 2025 and after that 21743 was hit. So he already won the race of prediction. Last year I also had view of Nifty slipping to 20650 from 26K+ levels but that will achieve in 2027 only.

A longer term bear market has started and will reach its mark in coming years.

We ran too fast that now we have to go with law of averages.

So trade rather than invest now. Take profits when you are having 10-15% in few days or a month or two and re-enter after waiting for the same stock at same price where you bought before or even below.

If somehow US-India trade deal happens which is highly unlikely with India rubbing shoulders with China and Russia, markets may see 27-28K also.

But overall returns will remains subdued.
