ITR processing delay. "Has your ITR been processed yet?"
The ITR processing has been stopped due to AI implementation.
The no. of ITR are getting stocked to check the highest peak results of processing that can be given at a time. Old method of burdening system and then releasing the pressure at once to test system capability.
It's like tasks are getting stacked to check the full potential of the system. In future ITR checking, notice issue and processing all will be done by system without any disrepancies and anything not declared will put halt to processing and in between Notice pe notie judge sahab.

same itr portal. On main page check stats. Daily data is not available. He may be screenshoting everyday. 🙂
5itr processed yesterday and 1 itr day before yesterday and 0 in a week before that

I know it as I also keep screenshot everyday as daily data of processing is not available. I mean if someone opens today they will never know how many processed yesterday or last week until unless they check everyday.
Why 🤔 ITD is not processing !?!

My ITR-1 is yet to be processed. No Refund due.
My wife's ITR-1 was processed under 2 minutes - almost immediately. No Refund due.
My younger son's ITR-2 (NRI) is yet to be processed. Refund of 40K due.

Nothing like that as the one I filed for my known has 7 female ITR and none are procesed since July 17th.
ITR processing is delayed to to changes being implemented and AI at work. Also still ITR 7 offline utlity not there and 5/6 online utility yet to come. Once all forms are up and running ITR processing will be made faster.
Currently what CPC is upto or ITD is still unsure but most of CAs around me have idea that it is only because of changes being made to forms and then processing according to it which again needs system changes. So delay is only due to it.
Who knows in coming days, more than 1 crore ITR is processed on same day itself. Seems like ITD is playing and readying system with automation. The current system till now was not able to detect deduction being claimed and used to process ITR with whatever data filer feeded. Now ITR wont be processed or notices will be issued if fake data is presented.
In coming days we will see power of AI in ITD. Honest taxpayers like us will see the magic of it while dishonest will stuck forever. Some claim HRA whilefiling but employer has no info in form 16 about it. Every company gives enough time to update between Jan to March but people are scoundrels.
Or we don’t know sitaji planning for new changes for the filed itr haha
