SBIs reasoning is suggesting that I can never get a card from SBI...how can I get even simplyclick or save from SBI?!?

Based on their wording this is what the grievance team said.


we wish to inform you that we are unable to reconsider your application. Unfortunately, the details you provided do not align with our internal policies for credit card issuance.
Please note that the reason for the decline of your application due to irregular payments were recorded on your previous credit card account ending with XXXX.

Further, the reason for the decline of your application is purely a business decision made in good faith and is in no way indicative of your creditworthiness.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter and thank you for considering SBI Card.

So what...for a card I did late payment like 10 years ago is something that they will consider rejecting over and over again despite my cibil score at 794( which they never did an enquiry on sprint) and even paying my bills on time for non sbi cards still doesn't matter because they will taint the 10 year scenario all the time and I will never be able to get any SBI card.

How am I suppose to get an SBI card at this point? I don't even care about the Cashback one or their phone pe one but even getting simplysave or click makes it impossible.

That sprint will always give an automatic rejection no matter how many times I apply it from there because it never does a hard enquiry.

Ask your old bank for removal of late payment, depending on your existing relationship they might actually remove
Somebody in this forum tried it with axis, but they asked some charge for it

Don't panic, you may try offline agents and they can provide you the card with offline alternative approach, just consult with a credit card executive (try connecting with there manager) in bank.

They will definitely make it done for you any card
 
Don't take it too seriously.

Don't do anything for 6 months. Seek the help of an agent in your nearby SBI Branch. If you have an SBI account, reach out to their agent in that branch. If no such agent, talk to the BM of your branch. Offline is the best option for you.

can we solve over leverage issue with offline agents?
 
I went to my nearest branch. This agent said to wait for a few weeks for the cooldown and he can apply me a credit card.

I wonder how it works.
 
Ok I got a question.

My father's number is in my SBI bank account but my Addhar number is different and matches to my ICICI bank account. Will the agent still be able to apply for me a credit card without the Yono SBI app?

There no separate offline and online cards. Cards are same. You can apply them online or even offline by filling physical application form through Bank RM. Online and offline are the two different ways to apply cards. Cards are same.
