Yes have initiated the process with my payroll.. So Savesage is still working for 5% cashback, bcoz read somewhere that they stopped

Haven't tried personally yet, but if it gives the dc option, yes it is working for CB

I guess he meant that MCC has changed hence effectively closed. I also heard that MCC changed to 6012..haven't tried myself

I'm eligible for this account/debit card, I did explore their benefits sometime back but for a different reason (best forex rate for inward remmitance). Went with other bank at that time, though their representatives kept reaching out telling me these benefits on the DC. So I know it should be feasible to get.

Anyway, I had SBI so have been using it for unlimited 1% back (after bonus) on CC payments using virtual DC. Was easy and zero effort wasted in trying to figure out which app to use for eligible MCC. However since they have now made it 0.25%, I am considering this.

Can anybody confirm if it is still feasible to earn cashback for CC payments using this DC on some reliable platform? I guess most of the apps have already changed their MCC, have been reading on other threads. And newer applications like Savesage are way too buggy and unreliable.

Even I was thinking of activating my dormant salary account with hsbc .. but looks like now no need of it
