My use cases are: Amazon, monitor + gaming mouse + mechanical keyboard Lena hai through different online websites (worth 21k), Steam giftcards, pharmacy worth 2k per month, and supermarket (specifically apna mart)

Summerize ka point nhi because bahut kuch change ho chuka hai, apni queries batao. For now answering those which are written.

Amazon hit n miss hai, kuch merchant names flag kardiye hai, so risk mat lo.

Steam giftcard kidhar se? India mai gamersgift registered website hai. Waha se le sakte ho.

Pharmacy and supermarket mai bhi chal jayega.

Also, ab update aa chuka hai app mai which lets you know if you will get cashback or not, just do a simple 20-30 rupee transaction, if you see cb updated then you will get cb else not.

Hey, I mailed to Kotak 811 Grivance team from level 1 then to PNO. This the final response I got from them regarding cashback. They are saying that you need to have Credit as well as Debit txn of 5000Rs. minimum to be eligible for cashback. I have credit txn as mentioned in their TnC but what the f*** is this debit txn thing. Are they correct am I missing something?

Copy of response:
"As per our telephonic conversation, we wish to inform you that the cash back applies when there is a debit or credit entry for INR 5000.

However, your concern has been noted, and we are working to resolve it.

We will keep you posted on the progress via email and SMS on your registered number and ID respectively."

- Where did you made them? And when?

May and June month cashback, Both months, I credited 5000Rs to kotak 811. Also, Used super debit card for txn's at Dmart for grocery. Full months done since the complaint they are not resolving even PNO is asking L1 CC to resolve they say credit or debit txn in mail but in Call say creadit and debit bothe of 5000Rs needed. I am done explaining them 4-5 times now.
Tldr - May and June 2025, -Dmart and other eligible MCC, - Yes , I did twice every month ( as 10k = 500Rs cashback)

Thts just BS, keep bugging them. Credit of 5k is required to "sort of activate" the cashback system for the respective month. After that even if you do a 20inr txn, you should receive 1inr cashback.

Yes, I did txns at many places. Dmart MCC in our area i know is eligible as I check the same before using idfc CC (5411). I bought giftcard of amazon pay using kotak gyftr,for fuel, in amazon , Flipkart grocery as well. Also, I remeber doing 2000Rs txn at one Hotel MCC 7011, this I am sure about.

Something is bugged in your account then, RBI ko mail kardo. Don't waste your time with bank.

They will call you back after RBI intervention, and agar koi pno bole ki debit bhi 5K minimum ka karna hai toh boldena aesa kuch nhi hai, as nothing as such written in T&C.

T&C ek dum clear-cut hai.

Refer point 6: "Customer should spend at least ₹20 to get eligible for cashback."

Did you use add money option or transferred via othe UPI apps directly?
