My verification was done on friday.. if i am directly tracking it says incorrect number.. but if i click on apply new card.. it shows your application is submitted and decsionsed in 2 working days.. how much time they will take to decide? Is it indication of rejection?

Got this response from SBI.

This is with reference to your communication dated 5/8/2025.

While processing your application, we observed that the details provided by you do not meet the criteria set forth in our policy for issuance of credit card. Therefore, we regret to inform you that we are currently unable to issue you a credit card.

The reason for decline of your application is a business decision, taken in good faith and is certainly in no way indicative of your credit worthiness.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you.

I have simply save(rupay) , simply click and also SBI CB( all are paid) . So, which one should I close simply save or simply click?
1. Simply save have worst reward structure but in terms of redeeming those rewards it is convenient and also Incan do upi transaction .
2. Simply click have ~1% for online tnx. Also with 2k vouchers for spending 1lakh and 2lakh.

I understood it might be due to pincode.

Today teied phonepe black card and
gave metro city address, this time i reached till digi kyc step and asked me to update address first for old sbi card.

Bro we both are at the same stage yesterday I also got the call for split limit. Yet there is no virtual card in the Sbi app and no other confirmmation of card dispatch. Waiting for update...

I initially got rejected message on screen, but when I check my application status through sprint( retreive application), it shows application in progress, actually following the day of my credit card application, I received call from sbi for 3 consecutive days, unfortunately I couldn't pick their phone at that time, my query is were they willing to offer credit card on split limit on existing card( 2existing cards, with 3 and 1.45 lakh limit) .Now, how can I approach this situation, I have mailed them today. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.

I applied for fresh card ( SBI PHONEPE BLACK SELECT) through the link given in technofino thread while I have two SBI card first is SIMPLY click and second is Cashback. But I think they don't give any extra limit for my new card they ask me for share the limit from my existing card.
