ACCOUNT DEBITED BUT AMOUNT NOT CREDITED

ON 23rd Sept 2024 i sent 2018 Rs from my HDFC account to Thane District Co Op Bank
my account did got debited but the recejver account has still not been credited
When i raised the issue with the HDFC bank RBI CPGRAMS CONSUMER FORUM
HDFC came with the same reply on all the platforms "THE TRANSACTION IS SUCCESFULL FROM OUR SIDE WE HAVE RAISED THE REQUEST FOR THE REVERSAL BUT THE THANE CO OP BANK HAS DENIED THE REQUEST ON GOOD FAITH BASIS WE HAVE AGAIN RAISED THE REQUEST WITH THE BANK AND ALSO REQUEST YOU TO VISIST THE RECEIVERS BRANCH "



What i find weird is that the case is being handled ty RBI appointed internal Ombudsman is that ok?.....on the Portal the case is still in pending state.

Who is the receiver in this case, a friend / known person or third party?

Is this a UPI transaction or fund transfer.

Did you collect the account statement from the other party for the relevant period.

Its my office building society did checked yheir statement its not showing up and more over thane co op bank is not responfing to my query properly

Send an email with all the details to enquiry@thanedistrictbank.com, update the status with their reply.

Based on response you can escalate to the RBI Ombudsman.
