ICICI Sapphiro Visa/MC to Rupay Conversion is Active Now

Hi everyone, I contacted ICICI customer care and itseems Saphhiro Visa/MC to Rupay conversion is active now. But they are saying that they will cancel existing card/s. I have asked to provide it as an additional LTF card. Lets see. SS attached.


If they do not agree for additional, would it make sense converting and cancelling existing variants?

Update 1: They rejected to provide additional Rupay variant.
"We regret to inform you that as per the bank policy we are unable to provide multiple variants as lifetime free or chargeable."

Update 2: Customer Care informed that Sapphiro Rupay is being issued in Platinum Variant.

Update 3: @Abhishek012 confirmed Sapphiro Rupay is being issued in Select Variant.

Yesterday. Approximately a week ago, my RuPay card was activated and yesterday, the other two cards were deactivated.

So, they are actually deactivating old cards these days.. good to know and thanks for sharing the info..

YES, BMS offers applicable on RuPay, booked tickets for my college work colleagues just today. Fantastic four.

You mean if one has two cards (I have MC and Amex) then I will get the BOGO offer 2+2 times? Otherwise just 2 times?

Because I never get any BOGO on the Amex one. Never 🙁

Some people also got LTF MC+Amex (dual card) + RuPay variant (all sapphiro).

MC + RuPay sapphiro (dual card)

Visa + RuPay sapphiro (dual card)

Amex + RuPay sapphiro (dual card) also available.

Another person told me, he ask ask on twitter and got 3rd card LTF Sapphiro RuPay.

After how many steps and filling what all information did you see pre-approved cards, please?

And did you get a CIBIL hit before or after leaving the application unfinished?

Was it from pno email only? if so, what did you write? I don't wanna apply because of cibil hit. I also currently have coral rupay. Was about to close it then I saw your screenshot.

No pno, just applied through app for a new card, left application in middle and close before completing, got a call from ICICI cc team, asked them for any Sapphiro LTF offer and got it
