Hey Fam!

I got Celesta card in March-25 with 5L limit. I tried applying Scapia card and it got rejected stating below 3 reasons -

1- Your credit profile reflects multiple inquiries in the last six months related to credit cards or loans. Even if no credit facility was ultimately availed, inquiries where a lender accessed your credit report are considered in our evaluation.

2- The number of recently opened unsecured credit products has affected your eligibility by not meeting the required threshold score in our internal assessment model.

3- Our records indicate that you currently hold unsecured products with Federal Bank or through co-branded arrangements, such as personal loans or credit cards, and have already availed the maximum benefits permitted under your existing eligibility.

Pt1 is right though had multiple hard hits in last 6 months, but I have asked the same with bank.

Read in many threads that Celesta folks are not getting scapia and considering current devaluations of Celesta card shall I close/downgrade and then apply?

Need a travel/zero forex card.

I don't know the reason why they are rejecting existing Federal customers
I got this message in March:
Upon asking exact reason they replied -

Thank you for considering Federal Bank for your financial needs. We appreciate your interest in the Scapia Federal Credit Card.

After thoroughly reviewing your application, we regret to inform you that your application cannot be processed as you have already been sanctioned the maximum credit limit, or you currently have a pre-approved credit card offer with the Bank.

While this may be disappointing, we encourage you to review your financial profile, including your credit score, credit utilization, and income, to improve future eligibility. Additionally, you may explore other banking products and services that better align with your financial needs
