Hi everyone 👋🏻

I'm looking to integrate a new payment gateway to future-proof my business. My main requirements are the ability to accept credit card payments and handle transactions from international customers.

So far, my research has pointed me towards Razorpay and Cashfree.
I'd be grateful to hear about your real-world experiences. How do they (or any other gateway you recommend) stack up in terms of reliability, actual transaction costs, and customer service? Any major pros or cons I should be aware of?

All help and shared experiences are much appreciated!

Do you have a company registered? We’re on Razorpay now, signed up Easebuzz last week. Will start testing soon.

If no company, DodoPayments works nicely(bit costly, but works).

If you're having a business specifically for international customers, I strongly recommend Paypal or Stripe.

It may not be as handy to the merchent but to develop trust easily, merchants use Paypal because it benefits the customers too.

I I’ve been running my web hosting business for about a year now and have been using Cashfree as my payment gateway. So far, the experience has been really smooth. They charge around 1.95% per transaction, which is slightly lower than what I’ve seen with others like Razorpay, which is usually around 2%.

What I appreciate is that if your business starts getting more transactions, Cashfree might reach out to discuss lowering the fee which is a nice plus. Their support team has been responsive whenever I’ve needed help, and I haven’t faced any major downtime.

Overall, it’s been a reliable option for me, but of course, every business has different needs — so it’s worth comparing based on what matters most to you.
