Hi, I got the exclusive account as suggested. During the online a/c opening; it asked to to select debit card and the only option I got was Signature Exclusive which I believe is Visa.

1. Can you tell me what's the major difference between Visa and MC ? Both provides free unlimited international ATM withdrawal, right ?
2. Can I request for MC card once the account is fully opened ? If yes, what's the procedure.

You can call cc and ask additional dc with Mc variant or replace visa to MC both possible.
MC variant when used in forex use gives best exchange rate but try it with the currency u r going to use
Rest all features same with visa and mc

It is myth that MC give better rate which is spread on internet...I used both variant multiple times, VISA has better rates compared to MC majority times...Do not look only one or two transactions...I did 30 transactions (15 each on VISA and MC)...I got lower rate on VISA 19 times and on MC 11 times.

There seems to be Visa and MC forex rate online. What I found is Visa gave best rate for INR->USD conversion whereas MC gave better rate for INR-> Other conversion. I only checked selected few. I think its random and mixed. Best is to have both the card, check the rates online and decide the card.

Make a FD with IDFC and get WOW CC, withdraw cash only for Rs 236 and pay CC bill to withdraw again.
Better the other options!!!!!
