ASBA Application experience - Different Banks

Hey, I need a clarification (IPO Application through ASBA or UPI). I recently opened an IDFC Bank account, but in that my name appears as Mr. Rohit Kumar, while in the Demat account it is Rohit Kumar. Is this okay, or will there be any issues? I previously used SBI, where my name is Rohit Kumar.

even in upi show as Mr. .... where sbi show name

No issues .

I use ICICI, HDFC, and IDFC for applying to IPOs through ASBA.
Among them:
  • ICICI is decent. Although you need to enter the DP ID every time, Chrome’s autofill makes it manageable. The process is fairly straightforward.
  • HDFC offers a poor experience. You’re required to manually enter both the DP name and DP ID each time, as autofill is blocked. The web UI is also not very user-friendly.
  • IDFC stands out as the best. It allows you to save your DP details once, and applying to IPOs becomes just a matter of a few clicks. The interface is clean, simple, and efficient.

Yes IDFC is among the best..
Earlier I used to use SBI then I moved to IDFC and never looked back..
Advantage is you get 7% interest above 5L in the savings.
So someone who is into HNI application game of IPOs.. IDFC is certainly the best..

Tried many banks ASBA in past, best experience is with Kotak ASBA through mobile app.
Can apply in a flash with easy to navigate to ASBA option from home dashboard, existing BOID info saved (support choosing from multiple if saved).

And like ICICI, Kotak also support ASBA application using linked FD balance without withdrawing it !!

@Pradumya Suggestion 2 include two more columns in above table:-
1. Support ASBA via Linked FD
2. Support ASBA for Minor Account
Other banks which allow ASBA via Linked FD?
