3 More days left man, 2 sessions more there in this day too. Why would anyone declare unless they are brain dead?
Atleast one session is enough to reach that massive record, its not easy to reach that much runs.

We can’t say anything with confidence… could be because of anything… unfortunate for that guy… that’s how life pans out.. there are so many things that are not in our control from that individual perspective…

Firstly, I thought we had enough and we needed to bowl. Secondly, Brian Lara is a legend. For someone of that stature to keep that record is deserved. If I get the chance to do it again, I’d do it exactly the same way. I spoke to Shuks (Shukri Conrad) and he felt the same way. Brian Lara is a legend and he deserves to keep that record.

No bro, still i don't feel this is true, looking like a cooked up story . Something happened between lunch. He could have stopped at 390 to 399 and stay behind that legend to pay tribute and stay as fanboy.
Honestly who doesn't want fame? It could have been his lifetime achievement. Still it's not convincing to me all.

After his 350, everybody were eagerly waiting for a new record. Many people suddenly took fancode membership to watch him get 400.
Honestly most people incl me fed up hearing the same thing Laras 400 wouldn't be broken.
Thats once in a decade kinda situation. How many 350s are we seeing recently?

I think its due to the weak opponent Zim, they dont want the record to be broken. Icc might have interfered and created this cooked up story.
Plus Lara is a ICC hall of famer.
