Govt announces FASTag annual pass at 3000 per year

Can’t read a word expressway anywhere, so they couldn’t be included I believe.

If no restrictions on type of roads, then it is very much beneficial. So need to wait for fuel full t&c.
 
Apply For LTF Axis Bank Credit Card
People should come together & destroy all the toll booths once & for all. There's no need for separate toll tax. Let the roads be constructed & maintained of normal tax people pay. Toll tax is also anyway ultimately paid by all the people in form of inflation.

It isn't possible for govt to do this without compromising other sectors. Yes, the tax collected is high but it is no where near to required amount for other sectors. Let's say the roads are constructed and maintained completely by the govt, the amount required will be taken from other sectors. Amount from welfare schemes cannot(won't )be taken since it affects the voting.
Amount will be taken out of education and health sectors, even though their current share is not sufficient and needs to be increased further. The only way tolls can be taken out is if we become a completely sufficient country which can only be done by investing more into education and health.
One more thing is the R&D in which the private participation is very less which needs to increased to atleast the amount invested by the government.

Logistics & transportation touches every sector indirectly. So other sectors are paying the price anyway in terms of high input costs.
 
My annual pass is already active since Aug 13 and I had crossed a toll.

however I noticed that the pass is not visible in Rajmarg Yatra app.

i checked the receipt and it was missing my registered mobile number.

1033 customer care is saying that the pass is active on my VRN but app is not showing.

i have logged in the Rajmarg Yatra app with the same mobile number as my fastag .

im out of ideas.

please help

can you check again now, I think whole day today server was not performing well as expected launch day
