I am not having invite to wallet. It is very difficult to understand what triggers these invitations. I had used the app for UPI and some small bill payments only. Today I checked the credit score in case that helps.

Even though the amount is the same 5L for me but the interest rate has been reduced from 14% to 0.99% (11.88%)! Not bad if someone needs urgent funds, I guess offer depends on your Credit score, Payment history, no need to activate anything on CRED...PS: Banks still give a better deal

Not really, it can track when a new bill is generated but cannot update if bill is payed via other platforms or if you receive cashback for a CC

Till last month it was and flawless. It reads sms of payment and used to WhatsApp and app notification 🔔 too. But the recent updates completely goofy 🙄

I have now disabled CRED's access to the emails but still fetches bill when generated and sends reminder that is enough for me

I too haven't given any access to mail. only to sms. How to be sure that it doesn't have access to mails ?

Make sure you don't enter your email anywhere on app🤪 and if you suspect CRED has access to your emails just change the password for your email, if you use Gmail I guess there is a option to check which apps have access your emails and revoke the access

Through an NBFC/Bank usually. For me it was Kisetsu Siason, but I am longer using it and asked them to close it and issue an NOC.
