Today read a note in SBI NetBanking Debit Card apply page:

"Debit card could not be issued if the same card type is applied again, existing card to be permanently blocked before applying a new debit card of same type"

So no double Pragati or double Narishakti. But, Narishakti + Pragati possible.

Don't show this to the employee, simple ask them to issue you DC with RPP code written on top of debit card application.

No need to go anywhere to check forex charges. Just install grab -> switch location -> order something cheap. Easy as that. Or you can book a hotel room with free cancellation on booking.com and cancel it later.

I don't need any more lounge access. Got Yes RESERV CC and I claim retention as reward points and simply pay GST. 6 access per year for merely 400 rupees a year.

Update: Rs. 354/- (for DC upgrade) deducted today after about 15 days of applying and about 5 days after receiving and using new card. All three cards active. No charges on that.

I couldn't test it out myself as mine is salary account, so everything is free for me.

I had one Virtual (rupay) and one physical (visa, global) before applying pragati.

I will close physical global after few weeks (before July 31). Just checking why they didn't hotlist it automatically. Infact they did initially (it disappeared for few days). Then re-appeared again.

On a funny note. Last time about 9 months back they blocked my card. That time I complaint and escalated ... and told them not to dare blocking my card ever in future. I didn't even visited branch to reactivate that time. They activated it eventually for me. But that is not the usual case otherwise. Normally everyone has to visit branch when their cards get blocked automatically for translation flagging.

I know that is not the reason here. Perhaps because it's a different variant so in my view it is possible to have as many DC as possible if they are of different variant and network. Unless we explicitly block them or let them expire. They will remain active.

I still remember once upon a time (6-7 years back) I had 4 active physical DC in SBI.
