Nope. Not taking the upgrade won't impact the possibility of upgrading to Infinia. Thanks for the response.
I want to upgrade to Infinia in future, If i reject the current upgrade, will it impact the chances of getting Infinia?

The only compelling reason to do this would beI've received emails to upgrade from DCB plastic LTF to DCB Metal FYF.
Is there any way to convert the FYF card to LTF if I choose to upgrade? Will this hamper any chances of getting Infinia in future?
DCB Metal upgrade is not required to get Infinia CC.... You only need to spend 7.5L in 6 months and >8L credit limit. Do it on DCB LTF and apply for InfiniaI am getting daily reminder for upgrade from LTF DCB to FYF DCB Metal
Should I upgrade or not
My aim is to get INFINIA CC
would agree with @sourpai 's commentsI am getting daily reminder for upgrade from LTF DCB to FYF DCB Metal

I have DCB plastic LTF and an offer to upgrade to Infinia, but I'm thinking not to take this upgrade offer because I do not use smart buy frequently. And I have been using this card for past 6 years and I don't know if the upgrade to Infinia makes sense if the spends are not on smart buy.Nope. Not taking the upgrade won't impact the possibility of upgrading to Infinia.
DCB Metal is good when spending 4L in a quarter. I also had the upgrade offer but didn't upgrade as I want to get Infinia.
However my past 2 quarters spends are more than 4 so I missed on 20K points.
If you don't use Smartbuy then don't upgrade.I have DCB plastic LTF and an offer to upgrade to Infinia, but I'm thinking not to take this upgrade offer because I do not use smart buy frequently. And I have been using this card for past 6 years and I don't know if the upgrade to Infinia makes sense if the spends are not on smart buy.
DCB PVC is LTF. Other cards are all paid and I don't use Smart buy. I have shifted a lot of my spend on HSBC Premier and also using my LTF DCB PlasticIf you don't use Smartbuy then don't upgrade.
I have Infinia upgrade option, but I'm not upgrading. My DCB PVC IS LTF and if I upgrade to Dcb Metal it will be paid. I don't want to change from LTF to paid versions. Continuing with LTF DCB PVC.If you are targeting Infinia, you anyways have to show spend of 9lacs in six months. With this DCB Metal will give you 20k additional milestone points (10k every quarter for 4lacs) and will waive fees as well. So better take this.
if u have already infinia upgrade then why not take that?I have Infinia upgrade option, but I'm not upgrading. My DCB PVC IS LTF and if I upgrade to Dcb Metal it will be paid. I don't want to change from LTF to paid versions. Continuing with LTF DCB PVC.
fees will be mostly covered with renewal pointsif u have already infinia upgrade then why not take that?
i know that's why asked him that qsfees will be mostly covered with renewal points
IMO one simple rule should be, take it only if you need it. I know Infinia offers 12500 points but you still pay GST. More than that, practically, the value of Infinia points is around 93p. That's a total loss of Rs. 3,125. Lastly, Infinia is only great if you use Smartbuy. If you never use Smartbuy, LTF DCB is anyday better option.fees will be mostly covered with renewal points
