Does it make sense to buy a used Volkswagen Polo 1.2mpi 2017 in 2025 - Query

Hi all,
I am planning to buy a used polo comfortline which has all the proper service records but has run 1.33L km.

I am buying through the local vw dealership in my city, and the car is registered here as well.
The car is first owner and demand was 3.9L and over chat reduced to 3.5L.
Planning to get OEM alloys, infortainment and camera for it and keep it for the next 10 years.

Is it a good idea? I usually drive my car for 10-15kms one a week or two, but a 450km drive once every month or two to delhi.

Please share your valuable thoughts and guide me.
Thanks

Buying an used car is a personal choice and as you are buying from authorized service / dealership, that shouldn't be a problem. Just take some friend or any service men whom you know personally for the inspection of the engine and service records as you are planning holding it for next 10 years.

I think you should not pay that much, maximum 2.5-2.6 Lacs. It's VW. Resale value should be way less. Already ran 1 lac+ km, the real expenses come afterwards. Maintenance would be high.

For reference, this is the actual price of the vehicle:

Volkswagen will drain your pockets dry once you start taking it for maintenance or issues . It's a great car for car enthusiasts but is hard on the pockets.

Two of my colleagues, both of which are car freaks , have a VW Polo and VW Vento. They spend so much on maintenance once the car has touched 7years + . They love the car like crazy but also whine about the bills .

Hi all, sorry for this late acknowledgement.
I've been told the same about VW cars that in tier 3 it will be difficult to get them serviced from non ASC and ASC is gonna be expensive and repair parts are expensive too.
I've never known anyone who owns a car with this much running, but have been told by a cousin that cars require a lot of maintenance post 1lac and turn into money pit, therefore dropped the plan of polo.

But now I've found a elite i20 top petrol manual variant of 2015 for sale on local dealership with a quoted price of 4.4 and negotiated online to 3.9 already.
I am not expecting anymore negotiation and the car has run less than 60k or 50k kms with all hyundai records available and the car is in pristine condition too.

What do you ppl. suggest?
Is it a good car for my weekly drive and monthly visit to delhi NCR?
What is the mileage and annual maintenance I can expect?
And I've heard that parts of hundai on an average are not expensive too.
