Millennia Millenia CC 5% cashback on Amazon GV

Hi Community,

Are we getting 5% cashback now days, by purchasing Amazon gift voucher through HDFC Millenia credit card?

I heard somewhere that it has stopped now due to changes in transaction code.

Can anyone confirm this please?

I got millennia visa ltf in dec24 and swiggy mc ltf (on another account) and thought millennia is just redundant due to swiggy's cashback feature. I also used to purchase Apay GVs via Amazonpay icici for 2%. Never thought to use millenia for gv. Will try it now.

Now I feel millenia hona chahiye, I have only swiggy hdfc :/

5%+1% on purchasing from smartbuy. (5% upto 500/month and Extra 1% upto 1k/month.)

If you don't have any core card then you can apply freedom card from paytm. Then later request it to upgrade to millenia. But it is hard as it may need good credit limit and they even ask income proof. Or you can ask to upgrade your Swiggy card to millenia. But you will lose Swiggy card this way.

The shirt mf of hdfc, I had salary account with them. Still they given me 88K limit for my Salary of 1.5 lakhs a month.

I can easily upgraded freedom to millenia, but the question is will it be life time free?

If you don't use swiggy card then email HDFC and try to get it converted into millennia. It will be paid, but use it as much as you can then request for LTF.

Millennia is great card, even if you pay the fees. You can milk decent cashback out of it.

Upgrade to ltf millenia is difficult. You can ask hdfc and check if they have tie up with your company . I have heard many mnc companies have tie so they give ltf cards to their employ. And you also have salary account with them so you have a better chance at negotiation cause no bank want to lose salary account holders.

My company already has tie up, they give me 0.05 paise exchange rate as well.

yes you will get. On statement it will be amazon gift card no problem
