HDFC BizGrow Card

Hello All,

I need some help with the information on applying an HDFC Biz Grow Card. I currently have Tata Neu Plus with 1lac limit which was increased in Nov 2024 from 20k. I have been holding this card for 1 year now. I had Millenia card issued in 2023 but got that closed due to annual fees which was charged on the fyf.

Since obtaining the Neu Plus card, I am unable to apply for any of the core cards or other co-branded cards such as Swiggy. I sent an email today to HDFC support to apply for the new card and they reverted with requesting to visit the nearest branch for physical mode of floater application.

Now, I have a Savings Account with HDFC. Since last month, I am having a regular Ads Spends on (Indeed platform) which I am putting on a different credit card right now, which are generally between 1-2 lacs per month.

Question 1: Any information or things to consider before applying for a floater card through the branch to get the card approved?
Question 2: Would I be able to request for a limit increase along with the application?

Notes:
(1). I have my business registered at my home address (hold GST and MSME license).
(2). I have one late payment on my Cibil which is of the HDFC Milennia Card. It's the fees they applied to the card, I did not pay the fees, and it was reversed after 1 month of back & forth communication with HDFC via X (Twitter) platform.

Thank you in advance.

Nothing much, make sure to follow up whole process till approval.
Question 2: Would I be able to request for a limit increase along with the application?
No, limit increase can be done solely or during card upgrade.

Why didn't they removed that DPD from CIBIL also? Did u told them to do so

If not do now, they are obliged to do so. If not u can file RBIO complaint and get compensation as well.

Thank you so much for answering the questions.

Coming to Late Payment on Cibil, no, I was not aware that I can have that removed from Cibil. I will drop them the email to remove the same.

I don't have the screenshot I took while filling the application where it said FYF or LTF, but have the chat history I had with them on Twitter, would that work?

And should I drop them the email on Grievance email ID or any other email address which you can share?

Again thank you for your response.

Hi, I am in the same situation as you... Although in my case the agent signed me up for Tata Neu even though I wanted BizGrow (for business expenses), now I received Tata Neu today with 1,09,000 Limit.

Were you able to get the BizGrow upgrade? Any idea after how long I should try, and should I be using the card/keeping more money in my HDFC savings account, etc?
I'm assuming I need to wait 3-6 months?

Hey,

So, I finally closed my Tata Neu Plus card as I couldn't get a new card because of 1 card "policy". I contacted several CC Agents from different branches of HDFC but everyone told the same-if you're holding one card already, you cannot get another card from HDFC. So I decided to close the current card and pursue to apply for BizGrow/BizPower card based on C2C (card to card) basis. One agent agreed to process C2C but later on denied saying that I have my business registered at my home address, therefore the higher ups won't process the card. He was useless, didn't even try to push for even to review the application.

I then tried applying myself online and saw BizFirst (the starter) card as an offer, I immediately applied but on the next page it clearly stated that the application won't be processed if the Home & Business Address is same.

I did some research and got some information that we can tweak the address a little bit (changing a letter or two) to make it a little different for it to process and that's what I did, and voila the application was approved with no documents or anything.

Though the credit limit is 10k only for this one, but it's a start for me. I can now request for a limit increase after 6 months or before based on the expenses and see how it goes.

To sum it up: if you want a business card from HDFC, then close Tata Neu as you can apply this card later as well. There's no waiting period I think to apply for a new card, as I was able to apply after a week of closing my previous card.

If you have a good ITR (above 12-15 lacs), then go for BizPower (check with your nearest branch if they can process the application offline. If not, then try your luck applying online and get the suitable one for yourself. For me, I first saw BizGrow as an offer but I thought to process the application again in a hope of getting BizPower but fate had different things for me, it showed BizFirst and I applied for this card.

Other way I think would be to open a Business Account with HDFC.

Hope the above information helps.

Thanks for this! It's very very helpful!

I've been struggling with the Home and business address being same issue for BizGrow for more than a year, but now, since Feb i have a separate office now (haven't changed the registered business address though, rent agreement seems to get it through...)

Now I'm thinking I'll probably keep this card for a while, and try to apply for BizGrow after 3 months? (Since the last application got rejected recently)
Or should I close this Tata Neu within the 1st month?

Also, as you suggested, I'll try to apply offline via the branch first... Let's see

Sigh, so much for the happiness when I thought my first HDFC card has been approved after all these years of chasing and struggle
