Need advice: buy a car-sedan

I know what Safe Mode or Limp Mode is. I asked why it went into Safe Mode. But no need to answer that.
I have not said nothing can go wrong with German cars. I am just challenging your statement that Skoda and VW Cars are White Elephants.
All cars need to be taken care of to run smoothly. There are plenty of Skoda and VW cars that have done over 6L kms without anything other than the scheduled service. We have run a Yeti for 2.5L Kms and the 2nd owner is still using it.

Why a car sensor becomes faulty???
Why electronics are given almost no-warranty even after replacement from genuine workshops?
Why LED bulbs fuse all of a sudden?
Why shock-absorbers become less effective with time?
Does your question have any logic?

There is no answer to any of the question above...

And like I just said, either you are lucky or you haven't encountered such scenario till now..
I had spent lakhs on maintaining and repairing both my cars which I had to end up selling because I was fed up..

So dude we both are in different waters.. don't compare

There is no answer because you refuse to research.
I'm not lucky. Just like lakhs of other people, I take care of my cars and that's why they give almost no problems. When a car gives problems you need to fix them properly. Most of the problems are due to lack of service or improper usage. Some are manufacturing defects but those are covered by warranty.
There are many people who have had a very good experience with Skoda/VW and there are also many people who have had problems with Maruti and Hyundai.
I am not comparing. Just telling you not to misguide people without providing proper information.

The reason I mentioned that I have been driving for 20+ years in multiple countries to ensure that you don't say I have not visited a decent garage.

I guess the problem is you haven't ever left a major city and have never heard that people drive cars outside cities also and finding a 'decent garage' in India is a nightmare.

Also, if you think I have never visited a decent garage, then you probably should agree that there must be very few of them on the face of sub continental India.
Even I have 20+ years driving experience and in multiple countries too. And I don't live in a major city. In fact I don't even live in a city. And you will be surprised how easily you will find decent independent garages in India. At least in the south.

I guess there is NO point discussing on this topic anymore.

I won't reply on this topic anymore.
