Can we buy gift card to achieve the target?

I think NO. In the app itself, on the page where they show which tier you are in, that says what all you can do to elevate the tier.
From what I remember, I think you need to buy things from Croma, Bigbasket, Tanishq, 1mg, etc, or book hotels, flights etc.

I am at an elite level but keep getting very few (almost no coins) from big basket purchases...today I purchased 450 worth from bb app and got 1.08 neu coin

1. Is the 3% advertised available only while shopping through tata neu app and not bb app?
2. Is paying by bb gift card balance leading to such low coin credits?
3. Should I reach out to the customer care team to report something that shouldn't have happened and get more coins (probably depends on answers you all help with for first 2 questions)

Yes the reward structure is only if you order from tata neu not bb app

Previously you could order in neu app with cash on delivery or failed payment
After completing order in neu app pay via bb wallet (this used to work previously idk about now)

You need to order only on the Neu app via BB.
Using coins for orders will not fetch you additional coins for most orders.
Ideally look for offers, currently on RCB match days there is 15% disc on 999.
You also get an offer for 60 coins for 600 spend on BB now which is applicable from Mon-Fri. For this you can use coins and will get the 60 coins back.
You need to plan your orders to maximize your returns.

Yes, for the 60 coins / 600 spend on BB now, you need to activate the offer after you click the ad banner. Then go ahead and make your purchase. Coins automatically get credited.
For the RCB offer, you need to select the code before checkout to get the 15% disc. This offer is in all Axis bank cards.
There are multiple offers on different cards, so always check the offers before checkout.

You can recharge your BB wallet using gift card bigbasket app. But after that you should use Tata Neu app to order bigbasket.

If you don't like Tata Neu app, create your basket / cart using bigbasket app and then just for payment switch to Tata Neu app. I used to do this initially but now got used Tata Neu app.

Normal i will purchase the gift cards in payzap and loaded in Bb. After that purchased from tata neu app. 16%in card points and 5%in neucouns. And this is my birthday month, so double coins in every purchase max 200coins. First we need to check the offer and apply than only higher coins will come. 10 days back I have ordered around 600rs . Regular coins and additional 100 coins also got it for that.

2. you get coins for using BB wallet balance but not for burning neu coins.
